a loud noise is coming from the cylinder and/or hotwater pipes

Hi, I have an older oil furnace and the cylinder and hot water pipes in behind the furnace have started making a loud noise over the last couple of days. It sounds alot like the noise you hear inside your house when you are running the hose outside...just a loud water pressure type sound...any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sound and light give one a clue,...

if your boiler is turning very red or if you see water on the ground or hissing sounds,..these are not "normal" for any boiler. if the room is very very hot, or humid, this too is not an indicator we would call "Good"....

really having someone who knows what they are looking at, look at it

    *~/:) would be the ticket.

The Pressure on the boiler says 22.5 psi. I can't take a picture until later tonight.
