Delay in Heating
The thermostat is set for 70 degrees, but it is reading a room temp of 64 and the boiler is not running. The boiler does not turn on until hours later and runs fine for a while. I replaced the thermostat, but I am still having the same problem. I have called two plumbers and all they do is drain the system. Any idea why there is a delay in heating?

make and model of boiler
Some controls go into a lockout that auto resets after 5 failed ignition attempts.
Make and model can help us help you better.0 -
it may be a minor Glitch in the control strategy....
then again there may be some other minor technicalities that need to be addressed.
sometimes a picture helps....not always is there an easy fix to the glitch.0
