Vibration-absorbing mounting bracket

I am trying to find some good vibration-absorbing bracket for mounting a 75lbs circulator on 1 1/2 inch horizontal pipes. Any good recommendations? The mechanical room is in the basement of a church and the sound vibration has to be cut down to a minimum.

    Any 75 lb pump...

should be vibration free before using it at all!

A vibration free circulator/pump is a good pump. Any pump that produces audible vibrations is a bad pump.

Fix the pump, don't move on - looking for vibration dampening.

The classic "noise" comes from pump damage at the cradle mounts. Sagging cradle mounts result in mis-alignment of the spring coupler and going through spring couplers from the imbalance like there's no tomorrow.

Spring couplers should last years, not months. Last note: Don't hang any part of the circ. pump; rather, hang the PIPE that goes into it's supply and return sides. The hanger of choice? Either a clevis hanger or a split ring hanger. The SR hanger can be inverted and floor mounted. Of course, there's a little more to it than that, but good ole common sense will prevail - I'm sure.

There are spring-like "absorbers" that can be inserted where the threaded rod comes form the ceiling, if you insert a connecting "joint." I would urge you to fix the vibration source, not allow it to continue - and mask it.

Let us know how you make out.
