Can you take some pictures of your new boiler and its near-boiler piping? A picture is worth a thousand words here.

Steam Boiler keeps shutting down - water goes down d return pipe
Just wondering if you can help. I just had my century old oil-fired steam boiler replaced three weeks ago by a Crown (Bermuda) brand steam boiler. It was working fine the first week until it started acting up. Only the radiators connected to one of the two steam pipes are getting heat. Also the water on the boiler gets emptied everytime just minutes after the boiler starts. For some reason the water goes to the return pipe and sometimes spitting out water on the valve. Once all the water is on the return pipe the boiler shuts down. After a minute the water will return back to the boiler, the boiler will start again and the process continue. My contractor is on vacation so I have no one to help me. I appreciate your help on this.0 -
Will post a pix tonight when I get home. thanks.0
