Tankless Hot water

Thanks for the info, I will probably install a watts p-3 and set it to 4 gallons and see if it helps.

I don't know why I didn't think of it.....so thanks again

It's a Burnham V-8 Boiler with a tankless. On a 2 story house with I guess about 1600 sq ft. It is for 1 full bath. I have no Idea what size coil it is. To be honest it is a friends system and I have no idea how it's fired. My Brother is their grounds keeper in RI and I'm an HVAC instructor in VT. I'm just trying to offer a quick fix to an 8 yr problem. I've suggested acid boiling and flow restriction. I don't hav na accurate assesment of the entire problem. I do know they have a watts tempering valve...but cannot fill a bathtub with water and never have been able to. I could use some suggestions. Thanks

I would install a standard flow restrictor before the tankless inlet and set it for 4.5 gpm this should correct the problem which is over drawing the tankless.
