the Aluminum layer give any extra protection. I can't find any written info from manufacturer on PAP, only on PEX that 30 days exposed is max.
I would think it does not matter, being the outer layer is pex also?

even the black colored stuff?
I thought the carbon black outer color made the tube more UV tolerant.

Uponors' spec sheet on multicor listed on their website says 30 days for PAP.
I'm not sure about any other manufacturer.
