This is a very sophisticated attack that's coming from many places. I'm on the road with a seminar and Invision is all over this. Looks like it's going to cost us a lot. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your support.

    No apologies are needed!

    Dan

You certainly don't owe any of us an apology for what is happening! We appreciate your hard work and the dedication that you've put into making this board a reality for all of us to benefit from.

    I am in...

I think it is worth buying a few bricks considering the bricks Dan must have ---- when he logged in.
  • Yeah...

I spoke with him early this morning to make sure he was aware of what was going on. We didn't talk long.

He said it was happening so fast that he couldn't keep up with them.

I'll buy a case of bricks. I'm sure I can use them on my new home:-) Hydronicah...

    i agree , it is a nusiance.

i am into this as sort of a home of dedicated professionals,i got some kinda thing a while back and really wondered what way it could get in..the young people who do this sort of thing don't seem to realize that it is easy for an idiot with a sledge hammer to destroy many hours of hard work by exceptional workmen ..in a fraction of the time leaving behind a lot of trash that then needs to be cleaned up and materials that likely cannot be used to rebuild..it is a waste of their resources though and valuable daylight to be destructive.

i have buh little, yet i too agree ,that sending in some bricks would certainly be a great idea... lets burn some daylight guys count me in ..i send a little help along via land mail..

    Thanks Dan.

and guys, Thanks for hanging together and supporting this very open dialogue with memebers of our community across America and the world that needs help keeping warm .

  • What's...

    all this about buying bricks?

Something the spammer(s) may not realize. They CAN be caught and prosecuted. We just went through this here. Took a while but we caught them and they got to face the music and try to explain themselves. We chose not to prosecute them, this time. The arresting officer was not happy about that part. The intertubes are not as anonymous as some might think. ;)

Go to the merchanidise section to see all kinds of neato stuff, and the bricks, which when purchased, help support the site.

I recently bought a few, and some deadmen stickers, which are a big hit with my guys...

    And we do

We appreciate the forum this site provides as well as the connections, the friendships, and the potential for growth in many areas.

And I know that all of those on this site know that all they need to do is ask and more support than they can imagine will come their way.

    Thank you, Dan.

    Quilts can be scary...

I was consumed by quilt once... him and his buddy pillow did a number on me, seemed like a bad dream.

Funny how the bottom of the "g" got cut off!

    building the pyramid

one brick at a time. Granted their bricks were really big, but bricks are bricks. This is not your typical pyramid scheme where only the guy at the top benifit. We are the bricks on the bottom, in the middle and WE, all of us are at the top, because we benifit from this site and all that is discussed here. Thanks Dan for all you do.
