I would not advise equipping the K5011 with a probe LWCO unless you are using it as a secondary Manual Reset LWCO. The boiler has a pair of 3/4" "E" tappings on each side for either a guage glass set or float type LWCO. I would use a 47-2 mounted on those tappings for an operating LWCO with feeder and a 63M as a secondary Manual Reset LWCO. The 63M can be mounted on the equalizer by piping in a pair of 1" tees above and below the NWL on the equalizer. That control, of course wants to be mounted a bit lower than the operating control. Have a relaxing Thanksgiving!

I,m planning to install a manual reset lwco and a electronic lwco and a auto feed but it seems the boilers a little lacking on extra tappings for safeties ,from the boilers diagram it seems there's really only 2 tappings which are left are e and k and the only usuable ones are of course on the oppisite side also has anyone done any reasearch on dry steam and temp ,i know this boiler is piped wrong header wise would that explain a header temp of only about 190 ,also drained the boiler just yesterday and she lookes very clean and upon filling and starting there where no signs of surging peace and good luck clammy
