product on the sight. The control you are looking for is a Direct Spark Ignition control and I know they still make them as I am holding an S8702 in my hand right now. I would be very suprised if Honeyell no longer makes a control. If not then try a Fenwal Direct Spark control with adaptability for dual hook up. I will try to get you some numbers.

Ignition Control Module, model S87K 1024 on a 20 year Fais wall-hung boiler. The ICM is not providing full 24V to the gas valve and it won't fire. Great boilers, but the local supplier does not carry them anymore, parts are not available and Honeywell does not list a replacement. I'd hate to have to replace the whole boiler just because of a bad ICM.

I thought about installing a new gas valve with an S86 ICM and intermittent pilot assembly, but all the piping in and out of the gas valve is proprietary and I don't think I could get a gas valve with the same dimensions.

Any ideas?

Alan, I found that

the Honeywell S8702K is a replacement for the S87K. It is a dual rod control which is what the S87K is so it should be a good fit. It is shaped a little different but the footprint should be able to be adapted. Give that a try to see if it matches up.

I called up the Honeywell Hot Line and an extremely helpful tech. named Andrew steered me to a S87J 1026 which is still made.
