no heat come from some radiators

Some information is needed: Type of steam heating system? Types of vents on radiators? Any vents on your steam mains in the basement? Are the steam mains insulated? Do the angle valves get hot on the cold radiators after the other rads are fully hot? What is the pressure set at the boiler's pressure limit control? Which rads get hot and which stay cold? What is the pitch of the radiators? More to come . . .

no heat come from some radiators
I have a steam heating system with four radiators downstairs and 5 upstairs. Some get hot and let of steam and others don't get hot at all. Any ideas?0 -
No Heat
Make sure rad valves are open Is this 1 or 2 pipe system, if 1 check rad vents. Unscrew vents and listen for air movement when steaming, but be careful the steam will get you quick an it hurts.0
