Well Ken, my thoughts precisely. Wonderful boiler and I am pleased to hear that they are that well thought of in the business.
I do hear that Glenn is an outstanding individual and a true asset to Burnham.
Man, am I pleased to know he is there if I need advise.

    Love my Burnham

    I didn't know anything about "steam" until a few weeks ago. I think my Burnham boiler is a great boiler. I don't have any comparisons, but I have seen that name beat up lately, and I don't know why. It seems to me that anything that complicated can breakdown after many years of faithful service. My thinking is that if it has served you well for say 10 years, get over it and fix it or update.
    I know products sometimes last several times that long, but not always. We don't know how any Burnham was either serviced or if cold water was introduced into it etc.
    Mine is a model PV84ST-HBUR oil fired, and it is operating flawlessly after 6 years. I hope to get many more years from this boiler.

    I haven't seen the name beaten up...

    But then, there is very little to beat them up over!

    They make a helluva boiler IMO. They also have a helluva good guy working for them, Glenn Stanton.

    He shows up from time to time. Straight arrow indeed.
