Information in sizing MAIN VENTS

I need to know where I can find information on finding the correct amount and size main vents for my one pipe steam system. I can’t find this information in Dan’s books and I know guys like steamhead have it. Where did you guys get that information?

I have two mains on a one pipe counterflow steam system and they are both made up of two inch pipe (insulated). One main is 20’-8” long with 148.86 sq. ft. of radiation connected to it and the other is 27’-3” long with 169.21 sq. ft. of radiation connected to it. They each have one Vent Rite # 77 main vent near the end of the main about 20” back up on a 6” ¾” nipple. I cut those in over the summer because originally this system didn’t have any main vents and some pipe fitting friends made up the new pipe for me.

I’d like to know if the Vent Rite # 77’s are sufficient enough or do I need to add more venting. I’d also like to be able to do the math myself if someone could show me where I can find that information.

Thanks
