Does the Wall now have a spell check?

Something tells me your I-Mac has incorporated a global spell check--perhaps without your direct knowledge.
I've never seen misspellings in my posts highlighted on any computer I use--but none are Apple.

hmm guesin nop...:)0 -
Mozilla, yes
There is an add-on to Mozilla which does this, underlines in red anyway. You may have a global spell check feature which does the same thing in other programs.
Or maybe Dan was sick and tired of spelling errors and gave up some of his Tough Love?
Now, if I could just get such a feature on my calculator, I would be all set...."If you do not know the answer, say, "I do not know the answer", and you will be correct!"

Or!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe we could just get one of those "ancient" publications. You know, the one that may or may not be at your desk. I think it was called a "dictionary" back in the day.

Don't be a dic
tionary snob now..."If you do not know the answer, say, "I do not know the answer", and you will be correct!"

No, not trying to be
But, I do try to be as resourceful as possible. Hot Rod's subject has been posted numerous times in the past. IIRC, no, there is no spell check feature on the Wall. Dan, am I right? I was just thinking about how much we rely on electronic souloutions.(whoops). Of course, there could be a "typo" in the dic. But, then, I've never been accused of being a snob. Hey! there's a first time for everything.
I ain't high enough to be snob. But, "snobbery" is another subject altogether, so I'll let it go.
Spelling, writing, syntax, punctuation, and conveyence (sp) have always been a recurring theme on the Wall by some posters sensitive to communicating electronically. After all, these guys are mechanics, hydronicions, plumbers, and technicians that may or may not have focused on grammar and such. Some leeway is called for.
I was just citing another resource tha might be still valuable.

Not me.
Must be Firefox. Cool!Retired and loving it.0 -
I noticed it today
for the first tima. It never turned red in the past? When I speal a word wrong on a post it turns red.
See the attachment below.
Could it be something with the I-mac update I did Sunday, or is it a feature of the engine that runs the Wall?
Whatever happened I like it. I do look up words in the dictionary when I know they are wrong. many times the LOOK right but are mis-spelled.
