Galvanized pipe a problem on boiler install?

Do you mean that the zinc coating will separate from the base steel once the temp exceeds 140 degrees F, or that the pipe itself will fail?
The system has been operating with these galvanized pipes for 16 years so far, but I did plan to replace them if it is not recommended to use them in this application.
Thanks!

Galvanized pipe a problem on boiler install?
As I've mentioned in past posts, I have a ca1991 DIY boiler refit at my residence. It is hot water.
When the previous owner installed the boiler, he used galvanized pipe for the near boiler piping, all 1.25 inch with a few galvanized fittings when transitioning to the old black steel original piping.
When I posted some photos a while back, someone noted: "...first thing I'd do is replace all that galvanized."
So as I plan this Spring's maintenance and near boiler repipe, should I toss all the galvanized pipe?
If so, what is the problem with using galvanized? Just curious.
Thanks!
Al
