Thank a Vet

as opposed to the real Veteran's Day(at least here in Mass). I support them both. And remember our troops everyday not just these days. Ruthe

Today is Veteran's Day -- please thank a vet for keeping our great country safe and free. I thanked my Dad, a WWII vet and my nephew, an Iraqi vet who is home on leave but will be heading back in harm's way soon. God Bless all of the men and women who put their lives on the line every day for us.

    Yesterday

on Veteran's Day we went to Fort McHenry and watched the movie which ends with the Star Spangled Banner in view of the big flag which was flying in just the right amount of wind. We then went to the flag lowering where they lower the 30 by 40 foot flag and hoist the small one for the night. The sun was setting just as the flag was being held by the group of visiters in preparation for storing it for the night. Many vets were attending. Quite a ceremony!

The stripes are 2 feet high. It is more square feet than my entire row home in Federal Hill.

    Thanks to all Veterans

I'd just like to take the time to thank all the veterans, both peace time and war time. I can only imagine that in our industry we have many. Again, Thank You all very much. Our country simply would not be what it is today without the men and women of our Armed Forces.

    Best Regards and Sincere Thanks,
