THERMAL BUFFER TANKS

I WOULD LIKE TO DESIGN A GREENER HEATING SYSYTEM USING A THERMAL BUFFER TANK TO REDUCE THE POTENTIAL FOR SHORT CYCLING. IN ADDITION I WOULD BE USING A MODCON BOILER WITH RESET AND A ECM-BASED CIRCULATOR.

ANY SUGGESTIONS REGARDING TANK AND ECM CIRC.'S IE. MANUFATURE AND TYPE WOULD HELP.

    Buffer tank etc

I might suggest (there will hopefully be others to chime in also) maybe a Triangle tube Phase 3 tank as it has a fairly large volume of water on both sides of heat exchanger. Maybe a Wilo Stratos pump and ?? Triangle tube prestige condensing boiler. Will see what others come up with. Maybe take a consensus to make your decision. Tim

    Buffer

John Siegenthaler wrote a good article in Plimbing Meh back in June 2002 using a Turbomax. I have a copy I could send you if needed.
