How's Minnesota statewide smoking ban treating ya so far? Can't wait til Illinois own ban to be effect this coming Jan 1st

    Hi rjbphd,

    the ban hasn't affected me any. and fortunately, we don't have to go around and tell people to put out their smokes. i think that there are some bars and eating establishments that might be hurting and some that aren't from the new law.

    but i always wonder why it seems that most of the welders i run into are smokers too. can't get enough i guess.

    hey, hope you had a good trip up north this year. was the fishing any good?

    with the northern Minnesota...

    With one of the most severe summer drought, then ton of rain just before I went up there. Snowed a week before I went up there, into 80 degrees days during my stay and temps dropped to 40's... Kinda screws the fishing but always enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin as well joined the locals conversation. Especially "crashing" into the local wedding and had fun!.... By the way, this year, no bugs...
