Intermittent Ignition and the Running Out of Oil

I have a customer who loves to buy fuel oil $100 at a time, which doesn't last very long in an old 6000 square foot house with a 425,000 BTU/H boiler. Her old boiler died and she replaced it with a Peerless with a Beckett CF gun using intermittent ignition. When she lets it run low and the flame goes erratic, wouldn't a continuous ignition system minimumize oil buildup in the chamber better? As always, ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Keep on Heating!

Once there isn't enough oil to continue to burn the flame will go out. Constant or intermittent spark doesn't really matter. Tell the customer to buy more fuel sooner.0
