low loss headers

The low-loss header results in the minimum boiler return temperature.

If you're using primary/secondary with a conventional boiler to keep the boiler temperature up--especially in a series of zones--use traditional primary/secondary piping.

    LLH Benefits

There are a few benefits, such as air elimination, expansion tank connection, sediment removal, supply temperature sensing. You might search for "low loss header" or "hydraulic separator", and there have been many threads discussing this issue in depth.
