WOW!

Have I been living in a time warp or do all the Patriots from the New England area just follow football. As much as we all hate war there is no reason I can think of to blame our veterans or soldiers.

Two posts I find re: Veteran's Day (no responses)

What gives?

    U R living in a time warp

If not Mr. Brady et al; it would still be Bo Sox to worship.

I celebrate Veteran's Day every day.

I am alive and speak English in the greatest country on the planet. I don't need one day to thank them.

    I need all year.

    Heroes Today

After 911 they interviewed on of the rescuers and when she said he was a hero he replied "Hero today back to an ---hole next week. That tends to be our attitude.

Fall of 2001 huge Veterans Day Parade in Milwaukee, steadily declined in size from 2001-2006 (no parade at all this year)

Ken, I thank not only Vets but those who serve whenever I can. We pray for their safety daily at mass and also for the innocent victims of war where ever that may be. If this is a time warp type behavior then I prefer to stay here.

I respect the work of Brett Favre and his fellow Packers but would fall short of saying I worship them. My heroes don't get hyped on a regular basis. However once a year dammit we all should find time ON THE DAY SET ASIDE FOR THEM to pay our respect.

Yes this lack of caring does boil my blood.

I went to an observance at a National Cemetery called Fort Logan

and paid my respects to the 80,000 war veteran occupants resting there, but didn't see a need to mention here on the Wall. Does that make me a hypocrite?
