My service tech serviced my Weil McLain 368st boiler today,he said that he had to take the lwco apart, to clean the inside wall of the lwco. It is a M/M #67 he said it had scale on the wall. It works ok now ,should it be changed, or clean it each year. Thanks tom

Replace after 10 years old
Clean once a year by disassembling the control, and if it is still serviceable, put back in service after cleaning.
That's M&M's instructions on them, shortened for the Wall. Read the whole instruction sheet, they have it on line.
