Discontinued Gas Valve Availability

Options
I am wondering if the people of The Wall could help me find some discontinued Honeywell gas valves.
I have 2 well kept Ray-Pak e-525 boilers that need new---Honeywell V5155A2166 1" thermostatic gas valves or a replacement model. It is a valve with a red knob on top to set the temperture of the boiler water thru a attached capillary probe. Depending on the temperture, the valve modulates to the lowest output necessary to maintain temperture. I could use 4 of these valves if any one could find some. E-mail me if you have some.... at
mike@thewarmguys.com ... thanks

  • You mean

these? Great valve IF installed on a properly piped boiler/system, most were not.
I believe these were an optional extra on many copper-fin boilers.

I don't think any are around anymore,

Try calling Raypak and see if there was an optional electronic mod gas train available for your boilers, you very likely could retrofit the gas train w/ an approved electronic mod valve setup. Tim
  • Those valves are

obsolete and unless some supply house may have some around it will be tough to replace them.
