  • Looked at this install

a few weeks back(they had many complaints), I told them to rip off the pipes and start over.
Anyway, they got a 3rd opinion and was told there is nothing wrong with this install!
    I`ll leave you to-it.

    Not a pretty sight

I don't know the local codes there but would need quite a few changes here. Don't know if I would say tear out but unless client wanted to pay for a decent job but would give options. Either way would not be cheap repair. Tim
  • rb 122?

Where do you even see that?
Are you referring to the FS?

    Nasty

Those pictures give me a headache. I see a flow switch set up on a stalk at right angles to flow direction; too high to work even if it was turned the right way. Looks like they did that work with the lights out. And two PRVs and the Exp tank location? I see scraps.
  • How would

you salvage much of this?(oh sure some things can be re-used), but this is "re-pipe" if I ever saw one.
Yet, "the other opinion" says it`s OK!

sometimes it is best to leave things alone...

do Not tell them you understand structural or sheetrock finishing, electrical wiring or even hint that you do...it looks like you might not be entirely safe working in that location... Let go and Let God ....
  • Thanks Weezer,

that`s exactly what I thought,,,I "threw" the job!
