If you hit the reset the pump comes on but only for a minute then the boiler try to refire but the pump does not come on then causing the temp to fly high and then goes back into lockout

Boiler is in soft lockout screen reading B-30 followed by 9 and the temp. Book states that return temp too low compared to outlet temp. my ouestion is should the boiler pump be running to try to equal out temps or not because the pump does not run and the boiler temp climbs too fast and locks out. I would think the boiler pump should constantly to correct it self. Any replies0 -
in the pump broken...
or not wired? relay not kicking in? kpc
