The fire marshalls office is accepting applications now. Get on their web site, it has all the forms that you need. I will cost you 225 bucks for now and be good for a couple years, then you have to complete I believe 80 hrs of training, take a test and shure as heck pay again. Other than grubbing more money from your pocket the law as written is a waste of time. The fire marshalls office has no inspectors at this time to enforce the rules. Most local towns do not have qualified inspectors to inspect work. Many service men in out laying towns will find it nearly impossible to attend the approved classes without traveling 2 to three hrs. The State cannot by law mandate towns and cities to permit and inspect. It yet another law designed to make everyone "feel good" but has little or no enforecment built in.

New Hampshire gas fitters license
Hi Ken,
The law went into effect in January of this year, but the program is just getting off the ground this month.

It's my understanding that the Maine CETP training is accepted in NH. Thier rules do reference reciprocity with other states that have similar requirements.
I do have a Maine license, but have not applied for a New Hampshire one yet
