Is Hy Tech out of business?

I have a customer with a major leak from a wall mounted Hy Tech boiler in a condo unit that was installed in 1983. I have found nothing on the internet re: replacement parts for the unit.

Is Hy Tech out of business? I just want to confirm before I recommend boiler replacement to the customer. The boiler is 24 years old. What are some recommended replacement models for Hy Tech HT-8NE 42,500 BTUH? Thanks.

    Hy Tek

I still repair Hy-Teks now and then . If its the diaphram that leaking, it's worth repairing, if there is no corrosion on the alumium parts . Any thing else is usally not worth it . Parts are avalible from Gorley Supply in Waltham Mass.

    Hytech

We have apt. bldgs with these in them. We have replaced heat exchangers, diaphragm rebuild kits, gas valves etc. Changing a heat x runs about $800 or $900 including part, good deal for them as a new boiler would run 5-6K installed. Works for apt bldg owner at this time. Tim

    Hy_Tech water boiler

I finally found some info on the Hytech boilers. I own a home in Portsmouth, VA. Lived here for 3 years and so far the system is working fine. Just nice to know other people still use these boilers. I no nothing about them and would love some more info if anybody has it to share. Thanks, Bob
