Im repiping and adding some steam radiators on the second floor in a single family house on a one pipe steam system and I noticed that at some point or another they had several radiators move in the past and they repiped them using copper L pipe ? Anyone see a problem with that ? Will copper hold up ??

The soldered joints are the problem
they can't move with expansion and contraction like threaded joints will. This may break the joints.

I have seen this to many times!!!! copper joints will allways leak within a few years even when done with different types of expansion joints(tried a few myself).
