Where to get residential boiler troubleshooting training?

I am a remodeler, I have read a bunch of Dan's books and done some heating system design and installs, but where I am stuck is on basic troubleshooting for the boilers when they don't fire. Once it gets beyond the thermocouple, I am lost. I hate calling in a pro (and leaving my tenants w/out heat) because I don't know how to reset a sensor.
Any suggestions for books, manufacturer training, videos etc?

what state do you live in or actually what state is this rental property in. do you need a license to do heating work in more than a 1 or 2 family dwelling. are you maintaining this property at the expense of the tenants.0 -
