logomatic control

As long as it was just the ribbon wire, why not give Buderus a call, and see if they have a replacement?

There is also the option of switching out just the computer brain, and that comes w/ ribbon. Give it a shot ! 1-800-buderus. Chris

P.S. always good to have one or 2 of those fuses on hand too!

    logomatic control shot???

Hello to you all:I have a Buderus 2107 Logomatic control that some mice decided to make a condo out of, and they ate thru the ribbon wire inside the unit.I had a computer friend of mine replace and reinstall the ribbon wire and then had my burner guy bench test the unit.He says that it keeps blowing the internal fuse and that the unit is shot.

In a last ditch effort here ,are there any companies out there that fixes these units, any suggestions?I hate to toss it,I never even got to use it.

    Thanks Greg

    T.V.s

printers, fax machines, and Logomatics ...

Its probably to expensive to fix and a new one would cost less.

    Sorry for your loss.

Chris:Believe it or not this is the second time this has happened. The 1st time I called Buderus and they really weren't that much help, just told me that they dont repair these units and that I was more or less out of luck.I think that they are making the ribbon wire out of cheese lol.I wonder if I send it back to Germany if they could look at it there?

The house was in the construction stage when the mice got into the unit.

    Thanks for the reply
