Anything wrong with this install?

If the windows remained closed, wouldn't the glass block the UV?

New Munchkin M80 install with Vision 1 pics

Please pick it apart so I can do better next time. I can't seem to get enough out of this site. All scrutiny is more than welcome. Thank you.

    Install

Seems ok but the pics are out of focus and too dark.

Looks like you care about your installs though.

What did you get for combustion numbers on start up.

Well I cant see the near boiler piping to tell if its a good circut or how the circuts actually run? I just cant tell from the pictures the mecanics of it.

But I think it looks outstanding,Everything neat and orderly, look well planned out and ordery for future repairs or maintnence or adjustments. Great job I wish I had the paitence to preform work like that. I just completed a munchkin in my own home and am imbaressed to post the pictures of the complete work. Last thing you should know that what ever quaility heating guy goes behind you in that home will be saying for the next couple of decades WOW a quility craftman installed this system

  • Check me, but I believe a window of clear Lexan (GE tradename for polycarbonate) will block UV.

    Perhaps, IF it`s that type.
How did we get talking about this anyway???

  • Is it piped P/S? It looks the radiant is, but the DHW is not?

Sorry about the photos. Either I had too much coffee or my camera sucks. I'll go with the later. Thanks for the input. The U.V Issue didn't even cross my mind. Would it be fine if I put armoflex on the risers? I thought I should have done copper on the risers, but in the interest of saving time... Decided to go with pex instead.
    Thanks

    Fitty

The radiant is piped P/S. The DHW comes off the primary loop as the manufacturers specs show. I think this has to do with temp./head pressure. Don't really know for sure. I basically went directly from manufacturers drawing as this is my first install of this type.
    Thanks
