Hooked up my own floor

The Living Room floor is done. Also the Family Room and the Kitchen. Only the Dining Room floor remains unheated. The Dining Room floor is a good reference as to the old floor temp. Cold! My wife bought a runner of carpet to run through the Dining Room, between the Kitchen and Living Room so we don't suffer bipedal thermal shock when we go to get a snack. I guess she's guessing it will be a while before I get around to installing that. I'm guessing she's right. WW

I hooked up my own radiant
floor last night. This past Spring we replaced the carpet on the first floor with oak hardwood and my wife and I put down some quik trak panels before the floor was installed. As usual the cobblers kids have been running around with out any shoes and my system was the last one to get hooked up. I came home last night and told her I wasnt going to bed until it was going. This morning I walked through the Living room in my bare feet. Ahhhhhhhhh! Life is good.WW

Congratulations....
now you won't HAVE to buy new shoes for the kids. They will be the envy of the other kids on the block, walking around on cold floors :-)
It is SO much easier selling radiant heat in the present tense as opposed to hear say...
