From Jay R.Smith Co., the Prime-Eze water saver trap primer. A P-trap tapped with a 1/2" tube going to new/existing trap primer line in the wall going to a floor drain, using greywater from the lav. Has anyone used these yet?

I saw and ad....
...for these in one of the trade magazines. On paper, it looks like a great idea.
My concern, however, is what will the inside of that small feed tube look like in a couple years? Anyone who has torn apart a sink pop up assembly will know what I'm talking about.

My rep at Ferguson
Was totally clueless about this. John, I can see your point, but in my case all the lavs in my buildings do not have pop-ups, so there isn't any spooge like hair, crusty soap and shaving cream scum to gum up the works.0
