Cold Start vs Condensing Boiler

I don't like the term cold start. On demand is a better terminology to use. The only difference is that a condensing boiler is gas fired and of higher efficiency due to the amount of flue gas heat absorbed by the boiler and condensed out. The stack temp will be a lot lower, raising the efficiency. You can use a demand start boiler with and indirect AND do outdoor reset....I have on in my house and a TEKMAR 260 is the control to use. I find it hard to believe Weil said it couldn't be done....we do it all the time with a lot of Weil boilers

COLD START VS CONDENSING BOILERS
What is the difference in a cold start boiler, like the Weil Mclain Oil Gold series and a condensing boiler like the Weil Mclain Ultra? I called Weil Mclain and they told me that the gold can be wired for cold start with an indirect hot water heater but you cannot use an outdoor reset control. I am confused.0
