Is the unit piped properly? Is the expansion too small or located correctly? Check with your supplier for specs and guidence. The auto feeder could be the problem, but I don't think so.

boiler keeps blowing off
My old cushion type tank was making noise so I thought it was shot. I replaced it with the proper size bladder tank in the same location as the cush tank and now my pressure climbs at peak heat until the blow-off lets go. I closed off the auto fill and cycled the boiler and it gets up to about 26lbs. but does not blow off. Is it a bad auto-fill? Is the bladder tank ok in the same location as the old cush tank or should it be re-located to in line with a scoop and auto vent? Going crazy in the cold , any body, please help.0
