Weishaupt dual fuel burner

Glenn, I am not sure that you would really benefit from a Weishaupt if all you are going to do is strictly low-hi-low.

Now if you want full modulation and tight combustion throughout the range, then I would look at Weishaupt. Remember you are going to pay twice as much for one.

Just an opinion...

Weishaupt dual fuel burner or other experience

I'd like to put a dual fuel burner in a Peerless SC-06 steam boiler. I'd like to use Low Hi Low. Does anyone have experience with a Weishaupt dual fuel burners or others? Have checked into Powerflame's model but the turndown ratio for LHL is not good enough for both oil and gas. Thanks, guys. Glenn

    Weishaupt

I have seen the Weishaupt in use, Beutiful burner. W/ electronic 02 trim etc it is amazing. Only one even close I think is the Riello commercial burner if outfitted the same. Tim

    Weishaupt

We have a more than a few units out there (oil, gas/oil) in the field. Nice burners. Tight control, Good availability of options (linkageless, etc.) Well worth the money.

    Not to familiar with Peerless

What input rating are you looking at for that boiler?

Riello's RLS series burners are fine pieces of equipment.

The RLS 70-130 are modulating gas and two stage oil and the 28-50 are two stage for both fuels. I went through Riello's commercial burner class and was very impressed with how easy it was to dial them in and how well they were laid out for service and maintenance.

The RLS 70 through 130's fire from 854,000 to about 5.2 million and the 28 through 50' cover from 378,000 to 2.2 million.

    Steve,

Boiler has an input of 3.50 GPH oil which I believe equates to 505 MBH (gas spec). Is the RLS 28 LHL??? I took a look at the website and only saw LH. Thanks! glenn
