    manifolds

I recieved a call for completing the installation of a radiant floor system. Heatlink 1/2 inch oxygen barrier tubing is installed in the slab and I need to manifold and then install heating plant. I have reworked O-ringed plastic manifolds in the past due to extensive leakage, replacing them with copper. I was wondering if any of you have suggestions for good manifolds for this tubing.

    I ran into....

the same issue w/ leaking o-ring manifold a year ago....I ended up using the Wirsbo old style manifolds...the compression nuts worked wll no problem....the copper would be fine too...kpc

    I use copper manifolds

with copper crimp rings on all of my systems regardless of tube brand.

Watts Radiant and PHP are my two favorite. Alberta T Drill and Sioux Chief also have them available.

I like at least one manifold to have Dahl mini ball valves.

Between those four companies come virtually all the copper manifolds you see. Regardless of the name on the box :)
