to anyone who has received an e-mail from me over the last six months and felt I was spamming them.

I am the owner of Gas Appliance Service Training and Consulting a small one owner business who does training at the Gas Training Institute in Warren Rhode Island. Once a month I send out a mass mailing to my clients. Over the years these are e-mail addresses that have been shared with me with the idea of my being able to communicate with them for training and other related business on the Gas side of the business.

It is perhaps possible that somehow I got your e-mail address and put you on my list by mistake for that I aplogize. IF YOU NO LONGER WANT TO RECEIVE INFO FROM ME PLEASE E-MAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW.

Whoever you are, you communicated with Cox my provider that I was "Spamming" you on a daily basis, and they without notification shut me down drastically affecting my ability to do business. They then after many hours on the phone with them decided that I had a mass mailing permit with them but then decided to void it. I am now in the process of developing a business account with them (much more money per month all I needed at this time in my life)the business account will allow me much more freedom to conduct business on the internet.

Spammers are the real reason for all of this but I am not a Spammer I am one of you and only desire to help everyone and maybe make a little money while doing it.

I find it unbelievable that one person could complain and shut you, a legitimate vendor down while the rest of us are helpless and get more V*agra ads than Lorena Bobbitt's ex-husband.

They voided your permit and you still want to do business with them? They owe YOU an apology, least of all for not contacting you first, then for ignoring your permit, then for voiding it. This is all you need at this time.

Sending unsolicited e-mail IS spamming. Your e-mail makes clear that you were doing exactly that. Sounds like you won't do it again, so, OK, you are not a spammer, but you were spamming.

Tim was ending news letters to his cliets and by some chance he got oen who did'nt want the information. That person should have asked Tim to take him off his list.

EDIT: I have NEVER received more than one email per month from Tim. Unless this person is claiming Tim was emailing him personally and not the entire list, may I suggest he is a big, fat liar?

Tim was NOT spamming! Tim has sent many of us free information on the gas end of things. He also freely gives his advise here and on some of the other boards. He sends information to his clients just like all legitamate bussinesses do.

perhaps it was you who was offended. If you would be kind enough to let me know who you are I will remove you from my list. That goes for you and anyone else who has a problem. I myself get hundreds of unsolicited e-mails a month, I just dump them and move on. It is just a part of this wonderful communications process called the internet. There are a lot more important things in life to worry about than a little extra e-mail.

By the way as of this coming Monday my provider Cox will be granting me a business mass mailing permit for future use. I promise not to abuse the use of such a wonderful and courteous opportunity from them. They did this as an apology for not notifiying me of my shutdown, which was done in error.
