Which gas Steam Boiler? Burnham, Peerless or Weil-McClain

Depending on how the system piping falls around the boiler, I use either the WM EG, or the Burnham. We use many Burnham boilers, and have just done a beautiful Megasteam.
The EG series has those nice big tappings on top. It is the ONLY WM boiler I will use.

Which gas Steam Boiler? Burnham, Peerless or Weil-McClain

I need to install gas fired steam boiler - narrowed the options down to a Burnham Independence, a Peerless 63 or a Weil-McClain EG. The boiler will have a "cheater loop" with circulator to provide baseboard heat to one room.

Any suggestions on which boiler to buy based on preformance, reliability, ease of maintenance, etc.??

    Thanks!

    I prefer.......

the Burnham Independence, I use a few of the Power vent steam boilers when the chimney is in question and it sure beats dropping a liner. The Independence also has tappings already in the block for a hot water loop.

Just my experience... I'm sure W/M and Peerless are fairly comprable.
