Way back
when video was in its infancy, talk about "cornball"! I hear this Dutch band couldn`t speak English, but it went to #1. Ahhh, the power of music!
All these years I thought it was sung by a guy!
Remember this?
Dave0 -
That's
definitely NOT a guy!

Robert,
That was Mariska Veres, apparently she passed-on on 2006.
Dave0 -
Did ya notice?
Boy do I hate lip sinc. I could hear the keyboardist, but couldn't find him anywhere. And no cords on the guitar or bass.
And notice the drummer. A lefty. The drums are set up backwards.0 -
To be
perfectly honest, I didn't notice anything other than the singer! She certainly is easy on the eyes

Paul,
In early 1981, about a week before I went to boot camp....I saw this show at the old Opera House in Boston. About 5 months later, there was an album(YES I have it on vinyl) called Friday Night in San Francisco,.Al DiMeola, John Mcluaghlin and Paco Delucia on stage together.
Al has been one of my favorites since I've known about him. I have piles of vinyl still intact from the early days, and have even purchased most of it in cd format.
Thanks man, I love this stuff! Chris0 -
I have that album on a cassette that someone, sometime recorded from the vinyl. I would have loved to have seen it live.0 -

Sorry Dave
I went off to watch TV with the kids on the new 50" Plasma Yahoo.
Now stop with this Anti Canadian thing or we shall forced to come up there and taunt you a second time.
