wall mounted steam radiator

Recently expanded a one pipe steam system in my house to place steam radiator in a new extension. Along w/ all the radiators for the extension I had also gotten a wall mounted unit for free. Can't believe people would put these out for trash. Whereas I am familiar w/ how a one pipe system functions and how the pipes are to be laid out. I am un-familiar with the ins and outs and piping of the wall mounted units. With steam entering from the top, where does the return flow to? There is a wet return for the system and if the out flow from the wall unit connects into the wet return this will surely help me w/ the best location to use this in the finished part of basement. Any ideas and advice would greatly be appreciated.
thanks, mark

wall hung rad.
SUPPLY FROM BOTTOM. no return or supply from top return wet or dry . both will work.0 -
If the wall rad
came from a 2-pipe system, you'll have to change it to one-pipe. Usually all that's needed is to plug the top tapping, install the proper size bottom tapping (which will probably need to be bigger) and drill and tap for an air vent in the proper place.
The Dead Men did this all the time, and if they could do it.....
