zoning a hot water heating system

I have a hot water baseboard system,it consists of 3 zone valves and 3 thermostats.My question is, it has 1 common return for all 3 zones,is this correct?any advice will be appreciated.Thankyou

Does it heat alright
otherwise that is a common set up as they shar a single circulator0 -
