Coil

Thanks for all the great replies. I do not notice a drop in water pressure by feeding the boilermate with the coil (it was like this with my old boiler). I have the Argo wired for Tankless coil startup (ZC/ZR from Argo to ZC/ZR to boiler). If I do decide to shut off the coil and only use the boilermate, should I leave on the input to the coil to prevent it from boiling and popping the gasket (I have ball valves all over)? What temp should the boiler stay at to avoid flue gas condensation? Would you guys recommend an outdoor reset control? If so, which one? I know that I can purchase the Argo DPM-2 but I was reading in other posts that this model does not have an option for low limit temp. Is the Tekmar 260 a better choice? One last thing; my taco air scoop has a sand hole in it. I know that I can get a replacement from the supply house but I do not want to take the pipping apart, is there a quick fix? I was told that it will rust up in time. I was also told that an old plumber's trick is to wedge a tooth pick in it. I tried but the hole is so small I cannot get the tooth pick in. Thank for all the great infomation.
