“GET OUT THERE AND CIRCULATE”

- Taco Introduces Two Tongue-in-Cheek Videos on YouTube Promoting Its
New Service Pump -

Cranston, RI, November 2, 2007 – Taco’s president, CEO and owner John Hazen White, Jr. has never been shy about proclaiming his company’s merits in many print ads over the years for the HVAC trade media. Now he’s released two video spots appearing on YouTube – one of which he’s featured in.

Both spots promote the benefits of Taco’s new 3-Speed 0010 Service circulator for residential contractors.

In Lovers’ Lane 3-Speed Pump White appears as a love struck plumber in his work van late at night, confessing “From the day we first met…I knew we were meant to be.” His affections are then revealed to be for a 3-Speed pump next to him on the seat of the van.

In the second spot, 007 3-Speed Pump, a cheeky, very British type instructs “00” about his next assignment, stating that although periods of time spent in a truck will be necessary, when called upon he must “ease into your position and get up to speed – quickly. Now get out there,” he commands, patting the top of the 0010 Service Pump, “and circulate.”

Taco’s 0010 3-Speed Pump, introduced to the marketplace this past Spring along with a 00R Radiant 3-Speed Pump, was specifically designed to be a replacement pump for use by service contractors. Its four-bolt universal flange allows the 0010 Service Pump to replace any circulator regardless of the existing flange orientation. The pump’s 3-speed motor settings – set via a rugged speed selector switch provide the same performance as the circulator being replaced.

Taco, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of pumps, valves, electronic controls, fabricated products and accessories for use in residential, commercial and institutional hydronic-based heating and cooling applications.

(I also added both videos to the Videos section. Look under Resources above.)
Retired and loving it.
