Used in firefighting, search & rescue & special ops such as to look for bad guys hiding or children or old people that have wondered off.

I have seen this tool used for many different applications, I love it and now I am having dreams, (good one's"). Who makes the best FLIR with the most features?

Much more affordable
than they used to be. Flir has some entry level cameras as well as rebuilt trade in. Also a demo program.
It is a wonderful tool to own, becoming very popular with real estate sales. Some agents require an infrared scan of the home before closing. Might be a nice sideline business if you get one!
They are used in the stock yards to screen out sick or fevered cattle and also in the medical field. Military use seems to be Flir's largest market.
