    Steam Radiator Heat - Pilot light wont turn on - Any suggestions

    Hi,
    I have steam heat and we install a new boiler a few years ago, we just had it cleaned last week. Went to turn it on tonight and the pilot light wont go on. It turns on for 10 seconds and shuts right back up.

    Does anyone have any solutions.

    depending on the age of the boiler, it just might be a thermocouple or dust, spider web in the pilot assembly orfice
    both a cheap fix just time consuming

    is the gas on??? check gas cock and gas valve
