Has anybody installed any heat manager controls?(reset without outdoor sensor).have they been reliable?I had heard of problems with bad units early on,and wanted to get some input.Any input on energy savings by installing these?

Here's a tip if you want to install the the Heat Manager.
Some installers have the bad habit of not connecting the circulator relay (ie R845) to the aquastat via the ZC/ZR. I've gone to such a home and put in a Heat Manager and waited as the indirect called to see the 'economizing' LED light up. I waited a long time. Then I checked the wiring. In other words, three out of the four zones don't call for the burner anyway and never have. The only zone that gets the water temp up to high limit is the one wired to the triple aquastat. Now considering this has been running for so long like this, are the savings going to be noticable? And to top it all off this job was for a friend that lived 3 hours away. I guess I'll see how much she saves this year.
