I have seen this thread go buy but did not pay attention. i really like the idea of isolation and drain in one valve. Whats everybody like?

There is a purge valve with the iso and drain all in one, but just as cheap & clean to spin a ball valve & t together and a good hose bib for the purge stations.

done that before
And it works great. and after about a thousand sweat joints in a mechanicle room whats three more. In this case the mechanicle room is the smallest i have delt with so far. I just have to have everything as compact as posible. Picture a 74" tall X 60" wide X 36" deep closet. Knight boiler, 80 gallon inderect, 7 zone valves and manifolds, backflow, and just to make it hard the fireplace guy ran his 8" flue through the corner. I will need a shoe horn and some axle greese.0
