Hi,
As the coast of natural gas continues to rise,Im looking at
replacing my boiler. It's an older horizontal casting EFM.
it's served very well over the years however It only squeeks
up to 79% eff. I would like a little help on whats out their.
Maybe time to look at a condensing boiler.
Thanks for your time.

that is likely a sound investment...
Why keep making the Nat Gas company Habby? with 20% of every dollar you spend going to aid in Global warming..Often there are newer parts and pieces that further increase the efficiency of the System (Field ) side of your heating system... instead of continually handing your money out to the gas company or fuel oil company you pay for the improvements one time, done deal.... insulation is often a smart expenditure of time effort and energy also.
i do not want to paint too rosy a picture buh you may see a return in very short order on the money that you invest in your home and family....i read quite a bit and it seems to me that there is a lot of fancy footwork afoot... to me, it reads like, in the not too distant future human beings will find energy something that they almost have to "Bid" on, for a purchase....if they cannot make the bid ... they wont get any...almost like the game at wall street...well, sorry about that ...that is not something that will happen tomorrow morning ...still, the point i am trying to convey is that you should seriously think along the lines of more than a condensing boiler ...0
