Best Car Chase On Film

It had Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami cops -- I think it was Bad Boys...not a classic chase scene like Bullitt, but it's one hell of a chase scene...
And from a different perspective -- the causeway scene from True Lies with Ahnold snagging Jamie Lee Curtis from the runaway limo -- the only problem is that Jamie Lee won't return my calls.

One of the best for me...0 -
Bullitt
This chase is still king. The Mustang looks as nimble as a cat compared to the big fat Mopar!

what about Ronin? That was a really great car chase scene!
TimJust a guy running some pipes.0 -
An \"Englishman\" yes,
but again the name escapes-me! Could be a "trade-mark" of age? Thanks UniR,,, old friend!

Hands down....
The Blues Brothers!
Wouldn't you just love to trash a mall in an old cruiser? Chris0 -

This was REAL, McQueen actually drove the Ford(except the last scene at the station), if you look closely you can see the Charger go-off in the background. And you may pick-up a fender mounted camera.

Car Chases
Both Mad Max and The Road Warrior in the first ten minutes (and scattered through out) of each movie have excellent car chase scenes. All done by real stunt drivers - no fake computer crap. " See you out on the road Bronze"!!!

I liked the one in the seven-ups, took place in my hometown.
Also the the bad guy driver- Bill Hickman, is the same guy who
drove the charger in bullit.

Vanishing Point
Just for the " weirdness " ..( 1970's just seem "weird" ). And ...the Ford vs Mopar thing...NHRA should be comming on soon , lets see how many " Powered By Ford " valve covers we see over 300 mph.0 -
Remember Eleanor?
"Gone in Sixty Seconds"
"Eleanor"-1967 Shelby Ford Mustang 428

Bullitt would have to be....
....my number one, also. Hackman in "French Connection" and Matt Damon in the first "Bourne" film were pretty good, too.

MOPAR
Be careful... a recent review I read about car chase spoke of Bullet....mentioned the green VW that appears something like 7 times and also the fact that that Charger could blow the doors of any Mustang.....only in Hollywood could that pony car outrun that Hemi.....only better driving could win that race. GO MOPAR !!!

1. Ronin, 2. Bullitt, 3. Bourne Supremacy
Vanishing Point is a little light on plot, but who can argue with a white Dodge Challenger. And don't forget Two Lane Blacktop.0 -
Duel w/ D weaver0 -
The Road Warrior/Mad Max is loaded with them...
especially the scene where the Gyroman drops the snake on the guy on the motorcycle. Also where Max shoots the guy off the roof of the truck with that sawed-off doublebarrel.0 -
70s movie
that movie was "duel" and I believe was Speilbergs first film
