Maplewood, NJ Mini Drop Header (Burnham IN7)

than the usual offset header, didn't it? That's why we drop every header where there are two or more risers from the boiler to the header- even if it just means using street ells for the drops.
Not to mention the increased riser height you can get, which results in dryer steam.
I think that one should go in the Drop Header section of the Library. What say ye, Dan?

Mini because...
I don't usually drop a header on anything under 8 sections.
For pipe dope I used the good stuff like I always do.

Very nice. I like the placement of the switch, a good space-saver. Two questions, respectfully: should the pigtail be brass(as of the last 2 years). Where are the takeoffs for the indirect taken from?0 -
Good catch, Bovide.
Yes, the pigtail should be brass.
Good luck getting Burnham to send brass with the boiler.
We'll swap that out when we return for the Big Skim.
The Independence series steam boiler has a tapping for the indirect on the right side section. We take our supply from there and dump it back into the wet return.
It's just a bit out of the frame.
